Same day turns are a absolutely nuts. No matter how much you prepare, there is always a surprise.

Our most recent surprise? A stained duvet cover. From pets, of course with no extra linens on-site. Our cleaner had just enough time to finish the job, but not enough time to run to the store and grab a replacement.

When we were just starting out, this would have absolutely derailed us.

But not today.

When last-minute things like this pop up, we use Walmart express deliveries to save us. It cost $6 for the express delivery and showed up in 30 minutes.

No delays. No missed turnovers.

That $6 delivery saved us when it counted. It kept the schedule on track and let the cleaner focus on cleaning instead of running errands.

Walmart delivery (specifically Walmart Business) has become our go-to for urgent on-site needs. Especially for hosts who are in need of extras.

Unfortunately while growing your business, you’re going to scrape your knees a few times before you say “enough is enough” and start looking for solutions and systems to solve your pains. Walmart delivery was a huge unlock for us.

No more urgent trips to the store, no more sprinting to the storage unit. Simply order it from your phone, pay $5-$10 for delivery, and it’s at your door in 45 - 90 minutes so you can keep cleaning. No-brainer.

If you have other solutions to this same problem, let me know! I’d love to hear about how everyone else is solving this problem.
